RETURN & REFUND POLICY

At SmartNestt, we strive to deliver intelligent home finds that elevate your everyday life. However, we understand that sometimes things don't go as planned. Here is how we handle returns and refunds transparently.

1. 🛡️ The "Unboxing Video" Policy (MANDATORY) To ensure fair resolutions for everyone, we have a strict requirement for claims regarding damaged, missing, or wrong products.

  • Requirement: You MUST record a clear, unedited unboxing video starting from the moment you cut the courier bag/seal.

  • Why? This acts as proof that the damage happened during transit and not after delivery.

  • No Video = No Return: Unfortunately, without this video evidence, our courier partners and warehouse will reject the claim, and we will be unable to offer a refund or replacement.

2. 📅 Return Window You have 5 days from the date of delivery to request a return or report an issue. After 5 days, we unfortunately cannot offer you a refund or exchange.

3. ✅ Eligibility for Returns To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unused and in the same condition that you received it.

  • In the original packaging with all tags and accessories intact.

  • Accompanied by a receipt or proof of purchase.

4. 🚫 Non-Returnable Items Due to safety and logistics constraints, we do not accept returns for:

  • Electronics: Unless the item is "Dead on Arrival" (proven by video).

  • Glassware & Breakables: Unless broken upon arrival (proven by video).

  • Hygiene Products: Personal care items cannot be returned.

5. 🔄 "Change of Mind" Returns If you received the correct product in good condition but simply changed your mind:

  • You may return the product within 5 days.

  • Shipping Costs: You will be responsible for paying the return shipping costs.

  • Refund Amount: We will refund the full product price. However, original shipping charges (if any) and COD handling fees are non-refundable.

6. 💸 Refund Process

  • Once your return is received and inspected at our warehouse, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

  • Approved: Your refund will be processed within 5-7 business days to your original payment method (or Bank Transfer for COD orders).

  • Rejected: If the item is found used or damaged by the customer, it will be shipped back to you at your expense.
